Series Artist for Bravest Warriors, Adventure Time: Candy Capers, AT: BabyCakes, Hello Kitty, Chomp and other stuff. Hecka buff n ruff.

this is my favorite page of me and kateordie ‘s upcoming 23rd issue of BRAVEST WARRIORS, ‘cause it is very weird! Out Wednesday, July 23rd!

 • The Bravest Warriors know how to save the universe and they know how to save it good! But what happens when it’s the universe’s time to save them? It’s going to be a crazy mission but maybe the universe is up to it, and if not, then hopefully Catbug will come up with something. Right?

Here’s what Kate has to say: “But that was written before I had even written the issue and it tells you basically nothing! Here’s what I CAN tell you:

 1. Beth does fight moves
 2. Plum says "butts"
 3. There is a new, different cipher in the alt text
 4. Catbug may or may not use a taser
 5. Chris’ costume in this issue made me laugh so hard I spit my soda”

So yeah, weird stuff.

Hey, kids! Bravest Warriors #22 is out this upcoming Wednesday, July 23. You can read the rest of this preview and see more awesome covers by Sibylline Meynet and Clair Sullivan (as well as this sweet A cover by Mike Bear) at 13th Dimension! <- the link

They give this synopsis:

The October solicits for kaBOOM! went up yesterday, and WOULDJA LOOK AT THIS:

BRAVEST WARRIORS #25
Retail Price:
$3.99
Author: Kate Leth
Artist: Ian McGinty
Cover Artists: A: Ian McGinty B: Maris Wicks C: Chip Zdarsky (INCENTIVE)
It’s the 2nd Anniversary issue! The team comes face to face with… Bugcat?! It’s up to the Bravest Warriors to figure out who this little guy is and where he came from because though he may look like everyone’s favorite Catbug, he might be more foe than friend!

Ian and I are PSYCHED about this issue. It also features covers by two of my favourite people, Maris Wicks and Chip Zdarsky! I requested them AGGRESIVELY.

What happens when an evil (?) version of our beloved Catbug shows up at the Bravest Warriors’ home base and starts wreaking havoc? Does he need more than a bath, some yogurt, and a place to go doodie?! Is he eating… edamame???

This issue features some special guests and a bunch of surprises. Please pre-order it. We are upping the BW game.

#edamame #hardtacos #BugCat dang y’all we are so excited for this issue, please bug (cat) our publisher and preorder it, we have a TON of surprises in this issue, including some of our best friends and favorite artists!

Just having some fun on my day off, I drew a #StevenUniverse comic instead of a bravestwarriors comic! This one was written and drawn by me and colored by Fred Stresing! I like ice cream cookie sandwiches but I prefer ChocoTacos… Anyways, getting the Crystal Gems down was pretty hard, I have to admit. Steven was kinda easy cause I can really identify with chubby short dudes.

kateordie asked peeps to take pictures with her new issue of Bravest Warriors #21, so I went with my favorite page! (Danny causing a mess of egg puns, beautiful.)
She and ianmcginty are already rocking it with this issue, it feels like there’s a fresh vibrancy instilled into the series, but not so much so that it’s jilting from the last comic to this one. It seems like they’re both right at home in this universe, and I’m pumped to see where they take it. (I might be a little biased since they started off with such a good Danny moment, shhh.)
If you haven’t already been getting the series, now is a perfect point to jump in! With two rad people at the helm, it’s sure to be…eggcellent.

http://emecomics.com/2014/06/20/roberto-roboto/

"ROBERTO ROBOTO is a creator owned property that Ian McGinty (Bravest Warriors, Hello Kitty, Ugly Dolls), Hannah Nance Partlow (Adventure Time: Candy Capers, Punky Brewster) and I co-created. He’s a cybernetic ten year old who was engineered by the government to be a weapon of mass destruction…but would much rather focus on his dream of growing up to become the world’s best veterinarian.

He’s a vegetarian weapon of mass destruction. He’s a happy-go-lucky kid with a song in his heart and an inexhaustible supply of sci-fi weaponry crammed into his body where his organs and junk should be. He’s our last hope in a future plagued by giant, gross monsters and endless war. He is ROBERTO ROBOTO, and he’s coming to save the whole, entire day!

Watch this video about him, if you wanna: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoEewmwsmIA

Roberto is going to appear first in a series of three ebooks, then in his own comic book series, and (if those sell well enough)…possibly a cartoon. That’s our goal with this thing. Frederator are the folks who produce Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors, and a bunch of other rad cartoons—and this is kind of a trial run to see if people are into our idea. So do us a solid and spread the word when the books drop!”
